These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hurri personal safety emergency network application and related services (the "App"), operated by Hurri Inc. ("Hurri," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use Hurri. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep your emergency contact ("Circle") information current.
Hurri is designed to help notify your designated emergency contacts and, where applicable, law enforcement, in the event of an emergency, using features such as SOS activation, live location sharing, and automatic audio/video capture. HURRI IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR CALLING 911 OR YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICES. Hurri does not guarantee that any alert, message, or emergency response will be successfully delivered, received, or acted upon in a timely manner, or at all. Location accuracy, network connectivity, and third-party carrier performance can all affect whether the service functions as intended.
By using Hurri, you agree that:
The SOS feature is intended for genuine emergencies only. Triggering an SOS event for testing purposes, as a prank, or without a genuine safety concern is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of your account, and may be reported to relevant authorities where false emergency reporting laws apply.
You will not disclose to third parties, including a partner, family member, or any other individual, that you or another specific person is a Hurri member, except as necessary to add someone to your own Circle. This confidentiality expectation exists to protect the safety of members and is a material condition of your use of the App.
You will not use the App to harass, surveil, or track another person without their knowledge or consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and device.
You represent that you have the right to share the contact information of any individual you add to your Circle, and that you will inform them they have been added.
Information shared with law enforcement through the Hurri Law Enforcement Dashboard during an active SOS event is provided to assist emergency response and may be used by those agencies in accordance with their own legal obligations, outside of Hurri's control.
Certain features of Hurri require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and included features are described at the time of purchase and may be updated with reasonable notice.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, including misuse of the SOS feature or breach of the confidentiality expectations described in Section 3.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. HURRI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY EMERGENCY ALERT WILL BE SUCCESSFULLY TRANSMITTED OR ACTED UPON.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HURRI INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY OR LOSS OF LIFE, ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
